Purpose:
New driver now available with support for 5th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 5500, Intel® HD Graphics 6000, and Intel® Iris™ Graphics 6100 and key enhancements for 4th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors. Benefits of updating to this driver include addition of video playback of VP9 video format (for Chrome video playback, Google Hangouts), HEVC video format (for 4K Ultra HD video playback) and expanded Open CL and Open GL extension support. This new driver release is timed with the newly released 5th Generation Intel Core Processor which has faster 3D graphics, faster CPU performance, faster video conversion, and more than 1.5 hours longer battery life.

3. The Intel® Wireless Display software application is available only for Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems.
