The coalition members were: Mapai, Hamizrahi and Hapo'el Hamizrahi, Agudat Yisrael, Po'alei

The Government resigned on 19 Decmeber, 1952, against the background of differences of opinion with
the religious parties on the need to strengthen the religious education.
The fourth government was formed by David Ben Gurion,on December 24, 1952.
The coalition members were: Mapai, General Zionists, Hamizrahi and Hapo'el Hamizrahi,

The Prime Minister resigned on 6 December, 1953, against the background of his wish to settle in
kibbutz Sdeh Boker in the Negev.
The fifth government was formed by Moshe Sharett, on 26 January 1954.

The Prime Minister resigned on 29 June, 1955, against the background of the General Zionists to
abstain during a vote on a motion of no-confidence in the Government and their refusal to resign
from the Government. The motion had been brought by Herut and Maki due to the Government's position
in the trial of Malkiel Gruenwald, who accused Dr. Israel Kastzner of cooperation with the Nazis.
The sixth government was formed by Moshe Sharett, on 29 June, 1955.
