Nebraska Energy Statistics
Nebraska has the sixteenth largest installed capacity of wind
in the country, based on the latest figures. At the end of 2020,
Nebraska had the installed capacity of 2,531 megawatts of wind
energy, which is 2.07 percent of the nation's installed capacity
of 122,465 megawatts. Texas has the largest installed capacity
(33,133 megawatts which is 27.06 percent of the nation's total),
and Delaware has the smallest installed capacity (2 megawatts).
Forty–one states and one territory have utility–scale wind
facilities.
